Basic Function:

Senior Safety Advisor is a key supervisory role within the Company HSE Organization reporting directly to the Corporate Head of Occupational Health and Safety. The position has a key role in providing specialist Safety oversight on Company HSE activities carried out.

Performs daily fireman exercise drills to ensure self-fit to carryout Fire Truck Driver duties.
Assists Fireman in refilling of dry chemical powder extinguishers and breathing apparatus immediately as and when cylinders become empty.

Basic Function:

Supervises the activities, Office Reception, Guards, Control Room and Photo ID and other related security duties to ensure the maintenance of strict control and security.
Scope of work includes issue /  Renewal of Employees contractors ID cards. 
Investigate and reports on infraction of Company regulations.
Supervises the operation of all computerized Time and Attendance. 
Access system and ensures it maintenance. 
Prepare necessary reports to the Management.

Work Performed:

Supervise and control the activities of Control Room, Reception, Photo ID and Guards in the Security Section. Performs supervisory functions at the level established by Management for the position.
Schedule duties of Control Room & Office Reception on rotational basis and ensures adequate coverage at all times for Control Room, Reception, Photo ID & Guards Services.
Supervise and participate in the reception of VIP visitors.
Instructs and guides subordinates to monitor check out time of visitors on the Visitor Access System to ensure their departure.
Ensures that in all cases of doubtful visitors, a vigil on their movements is kept and all violations are immediately reported.
Carries out unscheduled and surprise inspection visits to ensure that Senior Attendants and attendants are performing their duties in a manner conducive to the maintenance of strict vigilance and security. Includes carrying out patrol duties on person to ensure there is no unauthorized presence and movement of visitors and Company personnel.
Carries out investigations into serious infractions and violations of Company regulation and property, complaints of theft, missing items, etc. and prepares investigation reports.
Receives requests for issue / Renewal of Contractors Employee Cards and Temporary badges, scrutinizes and passes them to concerned employees.
Coordinates with Govt. Security officer for the approval of temporary badges issues.
Prepares monthly time sheet for contracted security staff and dispatches it to their Company.
Schedules annual leave program for the section employees
Supervise and ensures the Shift Leaders maintain constant vigil during their shift, that closed circuit TV Panel inside and outside the company is operated at all times for all floors, and that suspicious elements of incidents are promptly reported for investigation. Includes conducting spot checks, enquiries and recording evidence in all such cases of taking up the matter with higher authorities.
Maintains responsibly for the proper operation of all computerized Safety and Security systems, and provides daily supervision, participation and assistance on all system operation aspects.
Authorizes the entry / exit of materials to / from company. Ensures that Contractor's employees are not allowed to stay in the offices after working hours without proper authorization from concerned Companies.
Coordinates and participates in firefighting / rescue / first aid operations in the event of a fire in the office premises.
Assist with preparation of the budget, implement financial policies and procedures. Assist with annual audit, maintain financial files and records.
Ensure data entered into the system accordingly, ensure the transactions are properly recoded and entered into the computerized accounting system.
Administer employees files and records to ensure accurate payment of benefits and allowance. Administer employment agreement, verify and report on benefits payments, maintain the leave management system.
Review remittance, supervise completion of payroll and review payroll report.
Supervise Mail Room Security Attendants, Car Park Management, key/permit controller.
Assign and supervise the duties of the above mentioned subordinates, control the time attendance, monthly time sheet and any other benefits.
Supervise the preparation, execution and record keeping of contractors/temporary employees entry permits. Inspect the validity of.

Supervise the proper functionality of the equipments and machines provided for the scanning operation.
Plan, direct and supervise the activity of the car park management of the company. Ensure the strict maintenance of car park utilization.
Supervise the rational distribution of car park facility for the staff in accordance with the company car park procedure. Monitor the issuance/renewal of car park access and sticker.
Monitor smooth utilization of VIP's Visitors and meeting parking arrangements.
Investigate in to violation of the Complexes Car Park regulation and prepare report to the management when required. Participate in coordination with the traffic police regarding traffic violation based on the instruction form Management.
Assume the responsibility of all safety aspects in car park area. Participate in the preparation and placement of all necessary speed limit, directional and other safety signs.

Monitor the proper maintenance and inspection of fire safety equipments, like fire hydrant, fire extinguishers and ensure fire/emergency exit and escape routes are free of any obstruction at all times.
Maintains responsibility for monitoring emergency/routine work in the car park. Coordinate and report safety, security, accident and incident events within the car park in coordination with HSE personals.

Minimum Requirements:

Completion of College Diploma Administration or equivalent.
3 years experience in supervisory position
Good knowledge of English.

Carries out assessment of Industrial Health Risks created by ongoing operating conditions, handling hazardous materials including chemicals, noise, vibration, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, improper illumination, ergonomic factors, and heat stress.

Carries out regular inspections of all food, beverage (including potable water), kitchen areas, and other common areas (including swimming pools) for proper hygiene and recommend necessary improvement actions. 
Maintains corporate Register for radio Active materials used on operations and ensures proper updates are carried out.

Minimum Requirements:

B.Sc. or equivalent with relevant post graduate accredited certifications on Industrial Hygiene or Occupational and Health from any recognized university, with 10 years full-time related experience in an oil, chemical process, or similar industry.
Works under broad assignments and operates independently within overall Company Policies and procedures.
