Worked Performed:
• Performs designing and draughting work, record keeping, material estimation and data collection activities of Engineering Development Section at Abu Dhabi Refinery Division.
• The job involves overall accountability for the quality and volume of engineering draughting activity for investment works, modification works and project works including updating the drawings of the Refinery, Maintenance of engineering records, drawings, printing & copying operation, updating and maintaining information system of the Engineering Development Group.
• Produces design sketches / drawings from general description of requirements and detailed design drawings such as plot plan, key plan, equipment layout, piping & instrumentation diagrams (P & ID), piping design such as piping general arrangement drawings, pipe rack layouts, piping support general arrangements, piping support detailed drawings, support schedule, piping isometric detailed engineering drawings, fire water layout, including bill of materials, pertaining to all engineering disciplines viz. process, mechanical, piping, civil & structural, electrical, instrumentation and control etc.
• Reviews Vendor drawing submittals for existing/new equipment.
• Updates/compiles data of MOC/KPI Status for monthly reports.
• Carries out Micro station & CAD system works to produce modify/ update all types of engineering drawings and requirements using Microstation/ PDS/ Auto Cad/ Smart Plant P&ID by Intergraph.
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary (12 Years) education, followed by 2 years formal training leading to a diploma in Mechanical draughting and technical drawing.
• 6 years’ experience in engineering design and draughting work preferably in an oil / petrochemical industries.
• Knowledge of the use of Microstation, SPPID, SPF and PDS system (Piping Design, Isometric, equipment modelling, frame works, design review etc.) and AutoCAD (release 2012) on the computer aided design & draughting.
• Good knowledge of English Language.
