Location: Das Island 

Worked Performed:

Responsible for the development and implementation of training and systems to support the Company Competence Development Programme for Technicians. He will be required to assist in the design and production of suitable training support material to ensure that the Competence Development Programme quality standards are maintained and that there is uniformity in the delivery of high standards of training in On Job Training. The successful candidate should also be able to:

Train the Developees (Technicians) in both theoretical and practical activities as defined within the ADNOC Group/COMPANY Competency frame work and plan and follow-up the work based activities appropriate to the development of their skills and knowledge. 
Report to Maintenance Training Team Leader on the Progress, Attendance and Achievement of persons under training.
In collaboration with other TC staff, design and produce a comprehensive system for ensuring that the practical competence of the workforce is developed to the required standards
In close cooperation with the Developees, Line Supervisors and other appropriate staff, assist in developing and producing Personal Development Plans and Real Work Tracking records for Developees on time.
Deliver practical courses as required, to enhance practical skills and build upon theory
Conduct GAP analysis exercises and liaise with Line Divisions and other TC staff to produce and implement action Plans.
Monitor/track the progress Developees/Trainees against development plans and assist in developing and implementing remedial action plans in collaboration with Line Divisions and produce necessary reports as required.
Observe and ensure that the quality of Coaching, On-Job-Training and Assessments are in accordance with standard process, policy and procedures 
Produce Reports & Deliver Presentations as requested by Management
In consultation with Line, closely monitor the rotation/attendance, and the effectiveness of training of Developees.
Maintain good working relationship with other staff in L&D and Line Departments
Perform any other related task as advised by Maintenance Training Team Leader/MoT.

Minimum Requirements:

Aged 35-51
B Sc. or equivalent
Completion of an approved programme of practical training, such as Apprenticeship or Professional Institution/ Engineering Training Body / Armed Services / accredited training programme and / or SVQ/NVQ Accreditations.
Very good standard of written and spoken English Language
Five years experience of the Oil and Gas Industry, with a further six years related industrial experience
Must be computer literate
Good interpersonal skills
