Mechanical Technician (Maintenance)

Worked Performed:
• Carryout skilled maintenance works independently in the repair, assembly, alignment of mechanical equipment like exchangers, vessels, columns, boilers, structures and able to fabricate pipe work from isometric drawings.
• To be able to identify piping specs, gaskets, bolt nuts, valves etc and able to carryout the work on all the piping.
• Operates simple M/C tools such as grinding machines, drilling machines, impact wrenches etc.
• Able to take precision measurement using depth gauges, micrometer, vernier calipers etc. and must be able to work to very close tolerances.
• Prepares sketches/brief reports such as alignment, finished dimensions etc.
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of Technical Secondary education (12 years) / Apprenticeship Certificate or equivalent.
• The candidate should have a minimum experience of 8 years in maintaining and overhauling Diesel engines.
• Fair knowledge of spoken and written English.
