Senior Risk Engineer

Basic Function:
• Lead the development of Risk Management process and tools for Company Subsurface Development and for Surface Facilities.
• Take the active role of Risk coordinator to ensure the effective implementation of Risk Management throughout phases of the Company.
• The position belongs to the Project Controls department.
Worked Performed:
The Senior Risk Engineer has the following detailed tasks, duties and responsibilities:
• Ensuring that all team members are aware of, and can apply, the Risk Management procedures
• Setting up and maintaining the risk register and ensuring the overall quality of this document.
• Capturing and coordinating Risk Management activities including identification, assessment, mitigation plan, actions and events follow-up
• Coordinating and facilitating Risk Management workshops/regular Risk Management review meeting with the participation of concerned parties.
• Generating reports from the risk register to enable the Leadership Team to manage progress on the execution of risk actions.
• Assessing regularly the health of the Risk Management process and reviewing this information with the Leadership Team at scheduled updates.
• Generating risk input to the Monthly Project Report
• Contribute and cooperate with Cost Estimator and Planning Engineer for the development of probabilistic Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis, to ensure that main risks and mitigation actions are properly reflected therein.
Minimum Requirements:
• Educated to Degree level in an Engineering discipline.
• Preferably: Certified qualification with respect to Risk Management system and tools (e.g. PMP, PMI, PertMaster Risk Analysis, etc).
• 5 or more years of relevant experience in Risk Management within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
• An Additional 5 or more years' experience in project or discipline engineering.
• High analytical skills with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; Good reports writing skills.
• Ability to work with Management as well as in multi-disciplinary project engineering teams.
