Senior Systems Analyst
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Basic Function:
• To lead the development, maintenance and enhancement of the corporate Application Systems, in order to deliver quality and cost-effective information services.
Worked Performed:
• To analyse functional requirements and develop specifications for new information systems or enhancements to existing systems.
• To ensure compliance with established procedures and standards, throughout all systems development, enhancements or modifications.
• To define and design the required interfaces between various applications to ensure availability and integrity of data.
• To define security, backup and recovery procedures for each system implemented.
• To plan and coordinate the installation of new releases and upgrades of information systems and ensure that the migration of database and programs are completed with minimal impact on business operations.
• To lead the evaluation and recommend new development tools, standards and procedures to ensure the cost effective delivery of quality information services.
• To provide support and training to IT Help Desk staff to ensure that they are able to resolve simpler information system problems and that escalation procedures are properly implemented.
• To participate in the planning and testing of the Contingency and Disaster Recovery activities to maintain service levels and ensure the continuous operation of the information services.
• To ensure that the Company’s HSE Policy is applied in all aspects of the work.
• To train and develop the assigned UAE National Developees.
Minimum Requirements:
• The candidate must have 10+ years working as an Analyst with strong business experience knowledge in Oil & Gas sector should have minimum 3 years experience in the implementation of large Business Intelligence projects.
• Experience in the delivery of complex projects with vendor and able to handle users requirement with different business levels Excellent Communication Skills.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree 4 to 5 years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure.
