Senior Production Engineer
Offshore, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Basic Function:
• Provides technical assistance in developing Company’s oil and gas production/gas & water injection plans, reviewing and monitoring OPCOs/SPC Companies i.e. (ADMA-OPCO, ZADCO, TOTAL ABK, BUNDUQ & ADOC) and Company Sole Risk activities to ensure that the utilization of surface production facilities/equipment are operationally and economically optimized and in conformity with Company guidelines and objectives.
Worked Performed:
• Liaises with Production Operation Specialist to review/asses Feasibility Studies carried out by OPCOs/SPC Companies and Consultants to optimize oil and gas production based on best field practice and Company Production policy.
• Reviews/analyzes offshore OPCOs/SPC Companies production and technical reports.
• Studies and reviews the performance of OPCOs/SPC Companies activities including production, injection, surface facilities/equipment in respect of safety, maintenance and operational aspects ensuring safe, economic and optimal operations.
• Follows up/monitors day-to-day production and related activities and prepares daily/monthly production performance reports.
• Coordinates technical meetings/sub-committees with OPCOs/SPC Companies to discuss status of surface facilities/maintenance plans and issues of technical nature.
• Ensures that OPCOs/SPC Companies comply with Oil Production Targets set by the Concerned Authority.
• Reviews/follows up progress ongoing studies/projects.
• Reviews commercial matters related to operation tenders from operation technical points of view.
• Prepares surface facilities, field layout maps, production data, oil and gas analysis data as and when required.
• Contributes in preparation of E&P correspondences as necessary.
• Witnesses on behalf of SPC the calibration of oil storage tanks/meter provers at oil export terminals to ensure conformity with international related Standards as and when required.
• Participates in crude supply coordination meeting with other Company and makes visits to work sites if necessary.
• Performs other similar or related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
• B.Sc. Degree in petroleum, chemical, mechanical or equivalent engineering discipline from a reputable university.
• 8 years experience in production engineering including field and office experience in production related industry in E&P sector.
• Competency in English language, computer literate, well versed in the office applications and presentation tools.
