Production Engineering Specialist
Offshore, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Basic Function:
• Monitors all phases of the projects/studies being implemented by OPCOs/SPC Companies i.e. (ADMA-OPCO, TOTAL ABK, BUNDUQ & ADOC) and provides technical advice directly to E&P Offshore Division Manager.
• Highlights the problematic areas and concerns at early stage in the projects/studies to management and provides experienced advice to deal with these problems.
Worked Performed:
• Reviews Feasibility Studies/Decision Support Packages made by OPCOs/SPC Companies/Consultants to optimize oil and gas production.
• Reviews/analyses production and technical reports submitted by OPCOs/SPC Companies/Consultants, highlight comments and prepares summary on subjects of interest to management.
• Initiates, and follows up the production in addition to relevant petroleum engineering studies as necessary to be carried by consultant or OPCOs, correlates results and interprets findings in terms of action and decision as required.
• Participates in regular and irregular meetings, workshops with OPCOs/SPC Companies/Consultants to discuss status of surface facilities and issue of technical nature.
• Reviews/monitor oil, gas and water production and injection operations, prepares daily/monthly production performance reports of all offshore operating companies & SPC companies (ADMA-OPCO, ZADCO, TOTAL ABK, BUNDUQ & ADOC).
• Reviews/follows up progress of ongoing studies/projects of offshore operating companies & SPC companies (ADMA-OPCO, ZADCO, TOTAL ABK, BUNDUQ & ADOC).
• Reviews tenders from technical points of view of all offshore operating companies & SPC companies (ADMA-OPCO, ZADCO, TOTAL ABK, BUNDUQ & ADOC).
• Contributes in preparation of E&P correspondences as necessary.
• Participates in Industry Shareholders Technical Audits of offshore companies and follows up respective action plans.
• Follows up production engineering monitoring systems and prepares procedures of production engineering nature to ensures conformity with Company technical standards, policy, objectives and interests.
• Follows up with all OPCOs/SPC Companies' flaring quantities, and initiates studies to minimize Gas Flaring.
• Follows up Company Sole Risk and Exploration Operations including participation in technical meetings with OPCOs/SPC Companies.
• Assesses and follows up feasible options of different technical engineering studies and projects for all operating companies & SPC companies (ADMA-OPCO, ZADCO, TOTAL ABK, BUNDUQ & ADOC).
• Conducts special assignments/studies as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements:
• B. Sc. In Petroleum/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years' related experience in Production Engineering activities including field and office in Petroleum Engineering and Production Operations.
• Extensive experience in process and mechanical systems and equipment used in oil field installation.
• Competency in English language, computer literate, well versed in the office application and presentation tools.
