Construction Quality Management Engineer (QA/QC)

Worked Performed:
• The Construction QA/QC Engineer in Maintenance Department will have a Responsibility to Draft develop and finalize a Quality Management Plan (QCP & QAP) ensuring excellence of core services and Department functions and monitoring of the subsequent implementation of the same.
• Implementation of applicable standards that govern the Maintenance of Building services and achieve necessary accreditations as directed.
Quality Control:
• The preparation of the Maintenance Management QA operating procedures and administration manuals.
• Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the quality management system, deliver continuous improvement to all processes, work flow across the Department.
• Supervises of all amendments and revisions to QA manuals.
• Control, distribution and Management of all the Quality documentation.
• Monitor all quality related activities across department functions and operations.
• Perform all internal and external audits on department functions and operations.
• Verify subcontractors quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
• The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
• Coordinate all projects quality management requirements, meetings across department projects.
• Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.
• Monitor the disposition of all issued non-conformance reports including financial.
• Coordinate all QA/QC activities and correspondence with maintenance manager.
• Monitor statistical method reporting and actions and Control all archives documentation upon the completion of the service contact duration.
Quality Assurance:
• Implement QA/QC management system at site.
• Coordinate with quality inspections with all the site sub-contractors and vendors coordinate testing on site.
• Coordinate with the costumers representative on all quality matters.
• Coordinate all receipt inspections.
• Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.
• Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
• Participate in the site internal and external site audits.
• Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors.
• Undertake relevant training to the Site QC Inspector.
• Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and competed for as-built hand over through the QC turnover engineer.
• Compete suite quality control instructions and action remedial responses.
• Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC Plan.
• Complete and coordinate the approval of the sites QC technical submittals.
Projects QA/QC:
• Coordinate with CPD project managers on all quality issues Coordinate the QA/QC meetings with the projects.
• Ensures the quality records, acceptance certificates, mechanical completions certificates and the documentation for specific systems and buildings/areas are prepared and collated in accordance with the project requirements.
• Coordinate CPD for commissioning to Monitor and control the status of punch list and exception lists relevant to quality dossiers.
• Coordinate with CPD to resolve any discrepancies between the completed milestone and quality documentation and ensure for each project to compiler as-built turnover documentation dossiers.
• Coordinate any inconsistencies with test packages and Attend QA/QC commissioning meetings.
• Coordinate with the project staff to compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and testing until end of the contract and all pertinent records for retention on completion of the project.
Minimum Requirements:
• High compatibility with international quality standards in Maintenance of Building services.
• Facilities Management background with 5 years minimum experience.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management) and OHSAS.
• Strong personality and excellent communication skills.
