Medical Services Officer - Occupational Health

Worked Performed:
• Close coordination with, medical service provides, Hospital/Clinics, emergency and other support services and other support services and with Company Medical department to ensure Company employees received prompt and quality medical care.
• Effective follow up and ensure prompt resolution of all medical cases.
• Supervise the processing of all medical cases and employee's medical claims with the medical service providers and Insurance Company to ensure employee/customer satisfaction Regular liaison with Company Medical Department and Company Clinic for pre-employment and medical examination, employee's medical check-up, medical case clarifications, medical treatment abroad and disability payment.
• Regular visits and follow up of employees undergoing medical treatment in Hospitals as well as assisting employees families in critical medical cases.
• Ensure that appropriate Medical Surveillance is done for any identified Occupational related health issues.
• Coordinate with Ministry of Health authorities on matters relating to preventive health care as well as with contracted hospitals regarding executive health check-up for senior management.
• Support Senior Medical Services Officer in all related activities.
• Investigate and actively resolved employees complaints on medical services, reimbursements, insurance matters.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum MBBS Qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in Occupational Health.
• Minimum 7 years experience in a medical set up, MOH establishment/Hospital.
• Good knowledge of medicine and medical practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with medical service providers, staff and management.
• Ability to manage or give directions in Emergency Situations ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification preferred.
