Senior Administrative Assistant (Academic Bridge Program) (Academic)

Basic Function:
• The Senior Administrative Assistant is responsible to perform a variety of administrative support duties for the department including screening calls, welcoming visitors, making arrangements for meetings or other appointments and assist in the day-to-day administration of the department in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Worked Performed:
• Serve as a liaison with other departments for day-to-day administrative and operational procedures.
• Provide administrative support for the department such as answering telephones, welcoming and directing visitors, and resolving and/or referring a range of administrative problems and inquiries.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, interviews, appointments, and/or other similar activities for the department, which may include booking room facility, coordinating and lodging other arrangements.
• Operate personal computer to compose and edit correspondence and/or memoranda.
• Archive and maintain the confidentiality of departmental files, databases, records, and/or other documents; retrieve files and when required and according to Company policies and procedures.
• Sort, screen, review and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
• Support the department in printing, photocopying, scanning and faxing documents as required.
• Assist in preparing ad-hoc, internal and external reports as requested by the department.
• Receive and distribute mail and other documents as required.
• Perform other tasks and duties that may be from time to time required in order to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of the University.

Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma.
• Preferably three years of relevant work experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant or related field.
• Computer proficiency/skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is preferred.
